ROMI   Justice, Development Peace and Caritas Initiatives of the Catholic Diocese of Uromi, Nigeria,  is a faith based Non-Governmental Organization concerned with promoting justice and peace, encouraging meaningful development, providing succor for the less-privileged thereby upholding the liberating Gospel of Jesus Christ.

The activities of Uromi JDPCI cover Edo Central Senatorial District being the geographical area of the Catholic Diocese of Uromi which comprises 37 parishes in all of the 5 Local Government Areas of Edo Central Senatorial District in Edo State. The five Local Government Areas, which constitute the entire Esanland include Esan West, Esan Central, Esan North East, Esan South East, Esan South West and Igueben LGAs.

Uromi JDPCI, Uromi Diocese is part of a national network of the JDPC in 53 Catholic Dioceses in Nigeria. It’s coordinated nationally by the Catholic Secretariat based in Abuja, Nigeria. The co-ordination is further broken down to Provincial, Diocesan and Parish levels.
